Company history
Active for over 30 years, Groupe-conseil Forchemex Ltée, a subsidiary of Groupe Rémabec, has built a solid reputation in the field of forest management. Forchemex was created by integrating the services of Roche’s wood and forestry division, now Norda Stelo, and Rosaire Després & Ass. inc. a forestry services firm specializing in forest roads. This merger combined their respective expertise and consolidated Forchemex’s status as a leader in forestry. The 1n September 2017, Forchemex signed a new agreement to partner with a long-standing customer. As a result, it became a subsidiary of Groupe Rémabec, a pillar of Quebec’s forestry industry with 2,000 employees across the province.
